Nexus Tracker (NexT)
Turning integrated risk data into insight, foresight, and action
The Nexus Tracker (NexT) is an initiative of the ACCESS Consortium that brings together diverse datasets on hazards, conflict, and displacement into one integrated platform. It transforms complex and often fragmented information into actionable insights for humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding actors across the Philippines.
Climate-related hazards, conflict dynamics, and displacement patterns intersect, overlap, and compound, shaping how crises unfold and how communities are affected. Yet many smaller-scale or "under-the-radar" incidents remain unreported, resulting in an incomplete picture of risk and limiting timely, appropriate, and well-targeted response.
NexT addresses this gap by integrating national datasets with community-level reporting—providing a clearer, more complete picture of risk. It strengthens the Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) Nexus lens, helping actors not only respond to crises, but also anticipate them, reduce vulnerabilities, and support more conflict-sensitive and resilience-building interventions.

Provides a comprehensive view of past and ongoing incidents across the Philippines. Enables users to understand how risks interact and where vulnerabilities are concentrated for evidence-based response planning.

Developing Foresight: Potential Impact Dashboard
Shifts focus from analysis to anticipation. Using pre-disaster indicators—exposure, vulnerability, housing typologies—it estimates potential impact of upcoming hazards for early action.

Enabling Action: Rapid Response & Coordination
Tracks the collective on-the-ground activities of the consortium through its Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM). By providing a shared, real-time view of our activities, it strengthens coordination, promotes accountability, and ensures our interventions are targeted and effective.
Data Sources, Open Access & Attribution
Data is sourced from official government and UN agencies alongside community-level reports gathered directly from partners. Data for Potential Impact is sourced from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
